An elegant and highly practical Victorian mahogany side cabinet, displaying the rich colour, attractive grain and timeless appeal of finely crafted period furniture.
The cabinet is raised upon a substantial plinth base, lending a pleasing sense of solidity and proportion. The front is fitted with a pair of beautifully understated panelled doors, which open to reveal useful internal shelving, providing ample space for the discreet storage of household essentials, fine china or treasured possessions.
Above the doors are two working drawers, constructed with mahogany linings and retaining their complementary brass plate handles, adding a handsome finishing touch to the cabinet’s restrained Victorian design.
With its clean architectural lines, warm mahogany tones and versatile storage capacity, this attractive piece would sit equally well in a traditional dining room, drawing room or elegant hallway.
