A fine Regency-period mahogany twin pedestal dining table raised upon two elegant pedestals. Each pedestal stands on four gracefully shaped legs fitted with original box castors and supports a ring-turned central column.
The table features a well-figured mahogany top with matched timbers and attractive reeded mouldings to the edge. It extends via a traditional mechanism to accommodate up to three additional leaves, allowing the table to seat as many as ten guests when fully extended.
A particularly versatile design, the table may also be separated to form a pair of matching console tables when not in use as a dining table.
